Nicolas Corbin Memorial Prize
The Nicolas Corbin Prize was created in memory of Nicolas de Bazile Corbin, one of the founders of the Norfolk branch of CPRE in the 1940s and a leading voice in the protection and conservation of the county\'s countryside for over 70 years until his death in 2009.
The prize connects to a photographic competition for Norfolk schoolchildren, which aims to encourage awareness, understanding and appreciation of the Norfolk countryside. It is run by CPRE Norfolk in conjunction with Norfolk County Council with generous prizes donated by Wex Photographic. Prizes are given to winners and runners-up in two age groups; Junior (Yrs 7 to 9) and Senior (Yrs 10-13). The theme for the inaugural year of the competition (2011) was \'My Special Landscape\', which attracted entries from across the county.
Application forms for the 2012 Ncompetition will be available soon.
