Since 1980, the CPRE Norfolk Awards scheme has recognised hundreds of projects that have protected or enhanced the beauty, tranquillity and diversity of the Norfolk countryside or coastline.

2009
Winners included: Heritage Orchard in Salthouse (left), High Ash Farm in Caistor St. Edmund, the Sheringham Trails project, the restoration of Starston Hollow Post Windpump, the new Wymondham Library, Fairhaven School Gardening Programme and How Hill Living Marshes Project.

2008
Winners included: Mill Hill Gardens in South Walsham (left); the restoration of Oddfellows Hall in Sheringham; the Greengauge Homes scheme in Lingwood; Erpingham Primary School, the Roots and Shoots project at Holt Hall; Catton Park in Norwich and the River Glaven Restoration Project.

Winners included: Costessey High School Olympic Garden (left); restoration and extension of the Ancient House Museum in Thetford; Cley Marshes Visitors Centre; Southrepps Common Local Nature Reserve; the restoration of Greyfriars Tower and gardens; Dersingham Junior School Wildlife Garden; Primrose Farm; and the Wildfowl and Wetland Visitor Centre in Welney.
