A diverse and rather full bulletin this month, with details of a campaigning event to continue our protest about the excessive growth prospects for Norwich, news of an important consultation by Norfolk County Council and advance notice of our spring fundraising concert.
The recent news that the Secretary of State for Transport has decided to treat the Norwich Northern Distributor Road (NDR) as a road of ‘national significance’ is alarming news indeed. In itself it will destroy vast areas of precious countryside, but it will also lead to ‘infill’ development of the north Norwich area. These developments will change the face of our fine city forever. read more
