Support & Guidance
Planning is one of the most important ways we can control and protect our environment, but understanding the complexities of the planning system can be off-putting and difficult. CPRE Norfolk offer a range of publications and on-line support to guide you through the system, whether you want to respond to a planning application in your area, or if you would like more power to shape how your community grows.
This invaluable website should be a first point of call for any questions or concerns about a planning issue. It takes you through all aspects of the planning process from how to comment on a planning application to how they are decided. There are sample letters of objection and of support, and a useful glossary of terms. It also contains advice on campaigning; giving tips on how to gather support for your cause and get your message across.

CPRE and the National Association of Local Councils have also produced three excellent booklets which help explain the latest Government reforms to the English planning system. The new series of three pocket guides make it clear how people can influence the future of the area in which they live. They detail how people can contribute to both neighbourhood and local plans and describe how to respond to planning applications.
