Conversion of Farm Buildings to a Textile Conservation Studio & Restoration of Farmhouse at Oulton

The conversion enabled the re-use of a redundant farm building with improved security to the site and a better aspect for the village.

Colney Woodland Burial Park, Colney

A high quality alternative to traditional burial facilities and services in 12 acres of formerly derelict woodland.

Restoration of the Royal Station, Wolferton

An immaculate restoration of this late Victorian and Early Edwardian Railway Station.

Environmentally designed new class rooms and wind turbine at Thurlton Primary School

A new maintenance-free cedar clad building, built from managed forests. A 10m high wind generator powers a heat pump linked to underfloor heating.

Rowan House, Buxton

A secure unit for people with severe learning and behavioral difficulties, will eventually house 80 plus patients aged 18-59 years. Patient activity includes gymnasium, horticulture, workshops, football pitch, mountain bike trail etc. Monitored bat boxes and wild flower counts are on-going.

Restoration of Former Sand Workings at Wicken North Heathland, Leziate

These former sand and gravel workings have been restored to heath and grassland, where soils vary from heath, low lying lakes and reed beds, wetland & ditch habitat for water voles, conservation grassland, to woodland blocks as buffers to adjacent agricultural land.

Watermill Broad Nature Reserve, Former Gravel Workings at Didlington

A well restored and sensitively managed 35 acre site for all forms of wild life.

Environmental Improvements to School Grounds including Sensory Garden at Snettisham First School

The finished garden has distinct areas - a sensory garden, vegetable plots, a willow tunnel, a turfed amphitheatre, flower beds, a composter, wormery, log pile and bird table.

Development of Whole School Site for Environmental Improvements, East Harling Primary School

Environmental policy includes a 'Challenge Club', a large lined pond, field edge planting, front of school area planted with thousands of bulbs etc. environmentally friendly outdoor play area and large new grass and boarded amphitheatre.

Complete Restoration of Farmhouse and its Barns at Swanton Abbot

This 300 year old farmhouse had been derelict for 30 years and now restored.

Restoration of Victorian Shop and House, and Creation of an Art Gallery
A careful and painstaking restoration of this late Victorian/early Edwardian shop and house.
Environmental Management of Thorpe Market Churchyard and The Hazel Grove
Management of churchyard and Hazel Grove and environmental burial ground.

Restoration of Hingham Rectory Gates

First installed in 1885 they have been re-furbished and strengthened
Restoration of Stalham Old Firehouse and re-opening as a Museum
This 1833 building which operated as a local firehouse from 1833-1902 has now been restored and re-opened as a museum.
Extension to two Shops and reinstatement of Village Post Office at Swanton Morley
Extensions have been built to the butcher's shop and general store to include a new delicatessen, and re-opening of the village Post Office. The original buildings were converted derelict cattle buildings.
COMMENDED
Restoration and Extension to a Grade II Listed Cottage at Heacham

This 305 year-old property has been restored and modernised. It was originally the head horseman's cottage.
