Pick Litter in your area

Litter spoils our enjoyment of the countryside and can be harmful for wildlife and people. We’re working towards a litter-free countryside for everyone – but we need volunteers to help us.

CPRE Norfolk have sets of litter picking equipment that is available to loan for one-off or regular litter picks.

Parish councils, resident associations, schools, scout groups and individuals are welcome to borrow this equipment.

Up to 16 sets can be borrowed, subject to availability. Priority will be given to members of CPRE Norfolk.

CPRE Norfolk will provide you with the necessary litter picking equipment free of charge, although donations to cover costs are always welcomed. CPRE Norfolk reserve the right to ask for a refundable deposit while the equipment is on loan.

You/your parish council/community group will be responsible for ensuring you have appropriate insurance and first aid facilities. CPRE Norfolk will not provide any insurance for your activities undertaken or be liable for any injury or loss that might occur whilst litter-picking.

Any litter or waste collected must be disposed of in a responsible manner.

All loaned equipment is to be returned clean and in the same condition that it was in when it was collected. Any breakages or losses must be paid for.
