CPRE has launched a major new petition calling for a reliable bus service for every community.

As our transport deserts report showed, far too many rural communities have inadequate public transport. This is leaving older people isolated and lonely, cutting younger people off from education and employment opportunities, and contributing to high levels of car traffic polluting our air and waterways.

2020 has shown us all how devastating it can be to be cut-off from friends and family. As we build back from coronavirus, our towns and villages need a ticket out of isolation.
