CPRE Norfolk
By CPRE Norfolk
17th January 2022

CPRE Norfolk are setting up a new group in the west of Norfolk to help local people in this very rural part of the county. We are looking to appoint a new trustee who lives in West Norfolk to develop and chair the new group.

The new group will cover the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk plus the western parts of Breckland District Council and North Norfolk District Council.

As well as raising awareness of CPRE Norfolk, the group will build relationships with key contacts in the area and work with other local CPREs on areas of mutual interest. Another aim is to increase the number of volunteers and individual and parish council members in the area.

Our new trustee will have the following attributes:

  • Enthusiasm for our cause
  • Skills in leadership
  • Skills in relationship building
  • Interest in planning
  • Experience of working with volunteers.

We hope that our new trustee will have at least 4 hours each week available to develop this important role. Our friendly team will provide you with training and support to develop in your role.

Volunteering with us is a fantastic way to help us champion environmental issues such as the climate emergency, renewable energy, biodiversity and sustainable transport. With your support we can do even more!

EDIT: 4th April 2022

This position has now been filled. Details of our new Trustee and our new West Norfolk group can be found here.
