CPRE Norfolk Award winners – 1979 to 2012

The CPRE Norfolk Awards scheme was founded in 1979 to recognise and promote building, landscape and education projects which enhance the Norfolk countryside.

This list contains the CPRE Norfolk Award winners from 1972 to 2012, listing almost 500 projects ranging from large scale restorations to modest extensions.

Landscape improvement projects that involved the effort of community groups and volunteers have been recognised, as were a new generation of modern homes and buildings that are sympathetic to the landscape yet have their own unique identity.

CPRE Norfolk Awards have also been given to education projects which widen understanding and appreciation of the countryside.

It is a wide-ranging and fascinating list, containing boathouses, orchards, churches, wildlife walks, warrens, signal boxes, orangeries, vineries and much, much more….
